Welcome to Apex Illustration. These Terms and Conditions explain the rules and guidelines for using our website and ordering custom digital artwork services from us.
By accessing this website, requesting a quote, approving a project, or purchasing a service from Apex Illustration, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or services.
1. About Apex Illustration
Apex Illustration provides custom digital artwork services, including but not limited to:
- Custom digital illustrations
- Album cover artwork
- Poster art
- Cartoon portraits
- Character-style artwork
- Other custom creative digital artwork
All services are provided on a custom quote basis. Pricing, timelines, revisions, and final deliverables may vary depending on the project scope.
2. Custom Quote-Based Services
Apex Illustration does not use fixed pricing for every project because each custom artwork request is different.
A custom quote may be based on factors such as:
- Artwork style
- Level of detail
- Number of subjects, characters, or design elements
- File size and format requirements
- Intended use of the artwork
- Project deadline
- Revision needs
- Complexity of the creative direction
A project begins only after the quote, project details, and payment requirements are confirmed.
3. Client Responsibilities
When requesting custom artwork, you agree to provide clear and accurate project information.
This may include:
- Project type
- Artwork idea or concept
- Preferred style
- Colors or visual direction
- Reference images, if available
- Deadline or timeline requirements
- Intended use of the artwork
- Any required text, names, titles, or design details
You are responsible for making sure all information you provide is accurate. Apex Illustration is not responsible for delays, errors, or additional costs caused by incomplete, incorrect, or unclear information from the client.
4. Project Approval
Before work begins, we may confirm the project scope, price, timeline, and included revisions.
Once you approve the quote and project details, we will begin work based on the agreed direction.
Changes requested after project approval may affect the final price, delivery timeline, or revision scope.
5. Payments
Payment terms will be provided during the quote or checkout process.
Depending on the project, payment may be required in full or as a deposit before work begins.
By submitting payment, you confirm that you understand the project scope and agree to the related quote, timeline, and terms.
All prices are subject to change unless a quote has already been approved within the stated quote validity period.
6. Revisions
Some projects may include revisions depending on the agreed scope.
Revisions are intended for reasonable adjustments to the approved artwork direction, such as:
- Minor color changes
- Small layout adjustments
- Minor detail corrections
- Small text or element changes
- Refinements to the existing concept
Revisions do not include a complete change of concept, a new design direction, or a request for a completely different artwork unless agreed separately.
Additional revisions outside the original scope may require an additional fee.
7. Turnaround Time
Project timelines vary depending on the complexity of the artwork, current workload, client response time, and revision requirements.
Any estimated completion time provided by Apex Illustration is an estimate only and is not guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing.
Delays may occur if:
- The client provides incomplete information
- The client delays feedback or approval
- The project scope changes
- Additional revisions are requested
- Technical or delivery issues occur
We will make reasonable efforts to complete projects within the discussed timeline.
8. Digital Delivery
Final artwork is delivered digitally by email, download link, or another agreed digital delivery method.
There are no physical products shipped unless specifically agreed in writing.
You are responsible for downloading and saving your final files after delivery. Apex Illustration may not store completed files permanently.
9. Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds and cancellations are handled according to our Refund and Returns Policy.
Because our services are custom-made and digitally delivered, completed projects and delivered final files are generally not eligible for refund.
Before requesting a refund or cancellation, please review our Refund and Returns Policy page.
10. Client-Provided Materials
If you provide reference images, logos, photos, text, music titles, brand materials, or other content, you confirm that you have the legal right to use those materials.
Apex Illustration is not responsible for copyright, trademark, ownership, licensing, or legal issues related to materials provided by the client.
You agree not to submit materials that are illegal, harmful, stolen, copyrighted without permission, or otherwise violate another person’s rights.
11. Artwork Ownership and Usage Rights
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, final artwork is provided for the usage discussed during the project.
Personal-use artwork may not automatically include full commercial rights, resale rights, merchandise rights, or exclusive ownership unless these rights are included in the approved quote or written agreement.
Commercial usage, resale, product packaging, merchandise, advertising campaigns, or brand use may require a separate license or additional fee.
Apex Illustration may retain the right to display completed artwork in a portfolio, website, social media, or promotional materials unless the client requests privacy before the project begins and this request is approved in writing.
12. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our services or artwork for:
- Illegal activity
- Fraudulent or misleading purposes
- Hate, harassment, or abusive content
- Unauthorized copyrighted or trademarked material
- Content that violates another person’s rights
- Resale or commercial use beyond the agreed license

You agree to provide a valid email address and respond in a timely manner when feedback, approval, or additional information is needed.
Delays in communication may delay project completion.
